Career Development Awards Deadline Approaching!

The University of Minnesota Postdoctoral Association is pleased to announce the opening of our Spring 2026 cycle of Career Development Awards! 

These awards can be used to support attendance to conferences/events that support the postdoc’s professional development, such as conferences, workshops, and seminars. 

AWARD: Up to $500 to be used to defray the costs of travel and/or registration. This cycle up to 20 awards will be offered.

ELIGIBILITY: Only Postdoctoral Fellows (9560) and Postdoctoral Associates (9546) are eligible for the awards. If you are unsure of your job code, you can contact your departmental administrator or email opi@umn.edu. Only programs/conferences attended between Friday, January 2 and Friday, July 31, 2026 are eligible this cycle.

APPLICATION: Apply via Google Form with all requested information. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

DEADLINE: March 20, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

NOTIFICATION: Applicants will be notified of their status via email by the final week of June and will be provided with reimbursement instructions if selected to receive a CDA.
